This song by Umut Altınçağ was written in the native language of my parents - zazakî.
Zazakî (or also called kirmanjkî) is an indo-european language spoken by the kurdish zazas, which is becoming extinct. Many songs written in zazakî tell about the suffering of zazas regarding their history as an ethnic minority in the middle east. But there are also a lot of songs about suffering from love, such as „Merdena Mına“.
Below you can find the lyrics and translation (please note that the meaning of some words get lost when translating and that I had to describe some sentences differently. Please correct my translation if you can.)

To ke mira şîya
Asme bîya tarî
Bezna, to ya rindeka
Mirê bîya mezele

Merdena mina gulê, merdena mina

To dezê sarê mi
Adiro zerrê mi
Barî vilê mina

Adir nawo veşeno
Zerrê mi tewdano
Rîyê xona tadêyemde
Ez lewê toranî

Merdena mina gulê, merdena mina

To dezê sarê mi
Adiro zerrê mi
Barî vilê mina

since you left me
the moon got dark
your beautiful body
became my grave

You are my death my rose, you are my death

you are the pain in my head
the fire of my heart
the reason of my suffering

The fire is burning
burning my soul
turn your face to me
Let me kiss your lips

You are my death my rose, you are my death

you are the pain in my head
the fire of my heart
the reason of my suffering

Hey M (I'm sure I'll spell it wrong, Merivan?), this is Raghav from Tejo last week. Glad I found this (I'm not on Instagram), such a beautiful song & words! I've also really been enjoying listening to Aynur, thank you for the recommendation!
