You need to print this nozzle changing wrench if you don't have one already. I already regret not printing it sooner in my printing life.

I spent two too many years changing nozzles with the stock wrenches that came with the printer. This was such a simple a cheap tool that you really should print next. I picked up a 7mm socket from the hardware store for under $2. I already had a 1/4" to hex adapter, but you can pick one up for a few bucks as well. Now I don't put off changing my 3d printer nozzle like I used to since it only takes a few minutes.

The gear I use:

You need this for your 3D printer. Don't be like me and put off printing this tool.

I find something new to print every single day.
My printer was the best investment I have made in the last 3 years without a doubt

I change nozzles a lot, since 0.25 mm nozzles are great for detailed work (e.g. when printing lithophanes I see a very noticeable improvement over a 0.4 nozzle), whereas I may use a 0.6 or even 0.8 nozzle for functional parts that don't need to look pretty. Also for vase mode big nozzle good.

If the block is spinning when you're holding it, then the heat break is loose inside the heatsink. You should also tighten up the set screws in the heatsink.

Great video had no idea you could print one. so that will be super helpfully I just have to ensure i get the right size as i changed my hot end to a volcano... of course right after installing the bl touch. 😂 side note.. re calibrate your bl touch before homing as it will definitely crash into the bed and take a chunk out. Oops 😬

Informative video and something I will certainly print out. Firstly though what did you print the torque mechanism with? Is it Nylon or just standard PLA.
Secondly, there is something you missed out on the video, which I am sure you are aware of and that is that the block should be cooled down prior to putting in a new nozzle.

And that's why I hate E3d V5 HotEnds, the heater blocks are Aluminum and aren't secured.

Find it hard to believe that heat won't be an issue when hot tightening
