I am old enough to remember the 1975 referendum after Heath took us into the then common market without a vote. We were assured it for trade only and not what was it has now been allowed to morph into. Since 75 Britain seems to have lost its way on all levels and the EU is not faultless in this. Nigel is right and we have lost our standing in the world.
I lived and worked in the health sector in the middle east and while overall I enjoyed the enjoyed the experience, I had my eyes well and truly opened. The west no more understands the east, we simply do not share the same values! We might not agree or understand their ways but it is simply sheer arrogance to have interfered to the degree that we have. All we have done is make things worse. Especially now that we have a bunch of politicians that could not run a bath!

I applaud Nigel's continuing support of President Trump! Trump has, indeed, done the right thing. There are compelling reasons to believe that the Iranians themselves will be celebrating this decision! They are a decent people that have been subjected to 40 years of misery by theses clerics!

Iran situation relating to USA signifies a shift to the right with Saudi Arabia and Israel. The ramifications of USA withdrawal could be disruptive to countries remaining in the accord. After Brexit UK will have diminished influence with Europe or USA.
