This is awesome! Thanks for the very informative video. I’ve heard a lot about ESPHome the last few weeks, I get it now.

Any chance we could get a video about Tuya plugs and how we’d do them with ESPHome? I’m currently running tasmota on them.

Great video, thanks. One bit of info that would be useful for lightbulb discussion would be the wattage of each color/white channel. I found the Sonoff B1's color channels to be pitifully under powered.

These are great downlights. I do have one question. Is there a way to get the soft white color out of them. I have tinkered with them for some time and no luck?

Great timing! I have some bulbs that were sent to me by mistake labeled sonoff B1, I opened one up and the are tuya, they have driver chips One is labeled “SLM211A 1821” and one is labeled “AJ1818 25Q80CS1G U7S029” I hope I can find out how to configure them. Thanks again.

if flashing espHome to Tasmota ver. 8.1.0 you will need to disable compatibility check by going to console - setoption78 1 press enter,  and then restart device.  (thanks to nwesoccer for the fix)

this is great stuff, thanks. do you know how to make a yaml for the feit a19 color BPA800/RGBW/AG/2 (Costco) you showed in another video for tasmota?

Hi, I got a bulb that looks exactly like the Smart Bulb RGBW you're using. I managed to get everything working, even the colors except red. When it should emit red light only, the bulb is just dark. Full blue and green are working, white also. Channels for RGBW are 3, 2, 1, 0. If I swap the channels for white and red, it only emits white when it should emit red. So the bulb has some sort of defect, right?

How did you know the second bulb has the MY9291 driver installed? I have a bulb here and want to do it the same way like you but i am not sure what is the correct driver

Hi, I've followed your tuya convert video, and have flashed 2 of my 4" Zemismart LED Downlight's to Tasmota, but following your guide, and setting them to the AiLight(27) profile - they don't work in the same way that yours do in the video - am i missing something ?

I can't cant an answer from Zemismart. Can these down-lights be standard retrofit cans?

Tried tasmota on that exact recessed light and it looks like you can't do it anymore do to new firmware
