Beginner's guide to Jazz Blues Rhythm - Lesson

Want to know how to play over a jazzy walking bass line? In this lesson I teach how to listen to and play along with a jazz rhythm section playing a jazz blues 12 bar blues. This lesson comes with a backing track as a separate YouTube video so that you can play along yourself.

This is part 1 in a 2 part series providing a Beginner's guide to Jazz Blues. Part 1 focuses on rhythm guitar, Part 1 focuses on lead playing and provides an example solo.

The track is uses a standard 12 bar blues chord progression in the key of A, played with a swing and a walking bass line.
