Today we continue our PCG Building Series by giving people the much requested option to not only easily swap the PCG buildings, but also have all the pieces dynamically scale to the correct size they need to be.

At 13:01, could you just put both "Get Attribute from point index" into "Subtract" omitting "Break Vector Attribute"? And the same with "Abs" then. Tooltip for math ops states they are applicable to Vector types as well.

I have an issue with the static mesh spawner, at 19:52 I hovered over the in input pin and it says it only supports one input

Missed video part where you add Seed variable to PCG (before 26:52). Looks like it's at the end of the video part, shuffled (28:56)

I had a small issue when adding the "Get Property From Object Path", it just persisted with the error even though I KNEW that I had put the correct Attribute name, the "DetailWalls", so I thought that perhaps the engine for some reason can't set a new value somewhere that I created, so a restart might fix it, and IT DID! I am not really sure why, but my theory is that it might be related to drive permissions, as I noticed that Unreal didn't have all the permissions that I would like it to have (Full Control), do you think something like this could cause some of the errors and issues that I have had?

Side note - I really like this series! I don't actually sit though too many, but I really like yours, fast but not too fast, and concise answer to questions I didn't know I was going to have, great job!

22:33 after doing this my floors seem to have disappeared completely. Any fix?

First of all, great content!!!
Second, do you know if is possible to use walls of different sizes, for example one with a window and one with a balcony, and have the points distance to scale dinamically instead? So on one floor we could have some modules that are longer and some that are shorter.

For some reason my meshes stop spawning when I disable uniform scale. Any idea what might cause this and how to fix it?

Just Finished your first tutorial today and saw that you started another doing something closer to what I was looking for. Something that I thought of while doing the roof material was with the slope. If there can be a selector switch between roof types? For example the one you had in that tutorial, maybe a way to continue up with the walls past that roof point (for more eastern design), maybe "A" frames, and then maybe where the wall is higher than the roof like a railing.
Is there a way for a fast swap out for meshes in general? Say I have 10 buildings that require completely different meshes.

I have an issue with my unique walls. They have a balcony on them, so they stick out further than the normal walls. This messed with the scaling we did and now the unique walls are super thin and leave massive gaps.

What about changing geometry in different floors. I mean in this method all geometry of floors follow the first floor's geometry what if we want to change it in different floor to make more complex building. Can we do something about it?

Changing a pivot point to non-default could provide problems to use the asset in other scenarios. I remember this method was overused in Flash.

Instead of reflecting open back meshes when you have a balcony inside your flat (also doubling the size of the scene), it's better to make proper meshes. Anyway, there's no glass in window - you should add it.

For some reason when I try to scale down the wall size below the set height in the BP the walls disappear. But when I increase it they scale correctly. Any ideas on what my issue is?
