Flesh Flies and Shore Flies converge on Tadpole

A Tadpole (order Anura) seems to have gotten fatally stuck on the surface of a Spatterdock (Nuphar advena) leaf at the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center, in Houston, TX, USA. It looks like two kinds of Flesh Flies (family Sarcophagidae) have converged on the Tadpole to feed, and smaller yellowish Shore Flies (Notiphila sp.) have also gathered to feed and also mate.
