Sonic the Hedgehog had appearead in Walt Disney Animation Studio movie, named 'Wreck It Raph 1~2~'.

So in my opinion,
In the long-term future, perhaps 'Sonic the Hedgehog' movies & TV series will be realeased and produced by Walt Disney / Pixar Animation Studio.

Of course, we want to see scenes of Sonic and his friends (like Tails, Knuckles, etc.) meeting Mickey and his friends (like Donald, Goofy, etc.)

Sonic haven't been in McDonald's since December 2004 (18 years ago) with Sonic Heroes handhold games. And it's been years since I Sonic in McDonald's commercial while I was watching Sonic X and Kirby: Right Back at Ya! on the Fox Box Saturday morning.

It probably would makes more sense if Sonic Drive-In promotes Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie, instead of McDonald's and also promoting the first movie two years ago, instead of Jack In The Box. Especially that Sonic Drive-In have Sonic the Hedgehog's favorite food, chili dog and so far, neither McDonald's or Jack In The Box even serves plain hot dogs or chili.
