No Man's Sky | Tips & Tricks | The 2 Most Important Things to Bring on an Expedition!

We are back with another tip for No Man's Sky Expeditions! Today we talk about the most important things an advanced save can bring with them into an Expedition. We spend a lot of time today at the Expedition terminal on the Space Anomaly, tucked behind the Nexus terminal. When starting an Expedition from an existing save, this is where we select equipment to bring with us. We have limited technology modules slots and triple as many cargo slots, so we also discuss the best way to use those slots to bring nanites into the Expedition to unlock the most important things to bring. It turns out that suspicious packets from Pirate space stations are usually your best bet, as you can stack them to high amounts and they occupy cargo slots letting you sell X-class modules to Iteration Ares without even needing to leave the Anomaly. If your current Expedition has a milestone to earn nanites this should also complete that for you, but the main reason we want nanites is to use the create copy buttons on the Expedition Terminal to grab our advanced save's multitool and starship. On an advanced save, these two items will help you unlock milestones faster than most other things you can bring with you.

Spent a while (returning player) putting together a cool rifle for the expedition, but the game had already given me enough tech and enhancements by the time I reached the anomaly, that my new multitool was looking better than my main save's.

They have fixed the "Inventory full" error, but it is normally there for the first few days of a new Expedition. Getting your ship and your Multi-tool is a given as long as you have the nanites to pay for them so, I suggest 1 stack of 10 Larval Cores that you will have to dupe to get Nanites fast without farming them. If you really want to do it without duping, enjoy farming those Larval Cores but they are the Fastest nanite making item in the Portable refiner. The other think I bring is a stack of 10 Memory Fragment (Inventory) and I dupe those to fill up the ship, exosuit, and Multitool inventories.

Great video Lee. I do have a question. You were talking about bringing ship cargo upgrades and MT upgrades. If I bring my ship and multi tool from my advance save, will I need those ship cargo upgrades or mt upgrades? Thanks so much. I finished the last expedition, but not on an exisiting save, so this will be helpful.

I'm on console it won't let me do an old expedition at all. I wanted to do expedition 12 for the ship

I've been told by several ppl that bringing an existing save into an expedition is very risky bc it could bug out your existing save. Is it or have they fixed that?
