[Acts 2:38-42] 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, [even] as many as the Lord our God shall call. 40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation. 41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added [unto them] about three thousand souls. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

finishing the verse doesn't negate the pedobaptist position. he is doing the same thing he claims the pedobaptist do... separating the verse. He is just taking the back half of the verse trying to negate the front half.

Come on, now. We rely on much more than this one text to show infant baptism is valid. First of all, it was universally practiced in the earliest days of The Church. It wasn’t changed until the prot revolt.

“Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven” (Matt. 19:14).

Luke 18:15 says, “Now they were bringing even infants to him” ….to such as these (referring to infants and children who had been brought to him by their mothers) belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

The Lord did not require them to make a conscious decision. He says that they are precisely the kind of people who can come to him and receive the kingdom.

I’ll also point out that St Paul tells us that baptism has replaced circumcision (Col. 2:11–12). In that passage, he refers to baptism as “the circumcision of Christ” and “the circumcision made without hands.” Typically, only infants were circumcised under the Old Law; circumcision of adults was rare, since there were few converts to Judaism.

If St Paul meant to exclude infants, he would not have chosen circumcision as a parallel for baptism. There’s tons more….

And finally, you can’t point to even ONE passage from Scripture that tells us we shouldn’t baptize infants. For your argument to be valid, you’d have to show it explicitly from Scripture, which you cannot.

And this fellow trying to tell you HIS interpretation of the Bible. I belong with the first Christian Church, the one that was here on earth for 1500 years prior to this guys church. I have a whole line of magisterium that has already done the work of interpretation for me. My pastors are highly educated, as it takes 10 years to become a priest. Unlike pastor Bob here and his 6 week study.

Calling our interpretation wrong and providing a good argument we can disagree on is one thing but calling it foolishness just shows you don’t know the difference between credo and pedobaptizm.

I would add that if infant baptism was an evil thing, why didn't Mart Luther condemn it to hell?

Lol misrepresentation, we don't read the text like that, we even read the whole chapter. Now read the verse prior to that text and ponder how it parallels Genesis 17.
Just say you don't understand Reformed Theology without telling me.

So people who are far off cannot be saved?

The early Christians performed infant baptism before there was even a Bible. This should not be controversial. There was a church for hundreds of years before the Bible. You can read that it was a traditional practice to perform infant baptism.

What Bible says on Baptism and how preachers who teach RC Infant Baptism force Christians to not follow these Bible verses by a false RC Infant Baptism?

1. Bible says Repent and take Immersion Baptism
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” – Acts 2:38
2. Bible says Believe and take Immersion Baptism
“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.” – Mark 16:16
3. Baptiso in Greek means immersion
4. There is nothing called Original or duplicate sin in Bible
Original sin is invention of False teacher Augustine. RC False teachers blame a false Original sin to forcibly give RC Infant Baptism to people.
5. Preacher who teach RC Infant Baptism are in rebellion against God’s teaching with regards to Baptism
Very simple. God said to Believe and take Immersion Baptism in Mark 16:16, Matthew 28:18-20, Repent and take Immersion Baptism in Acts 2:38, Baptiso in greek means Immersion.

RC Infant Baptism False teachers are rebelling against God's fundamental teachings like the Devil and they are teaching False RC Infant Baptism to stop people from Repenting from sins, believing in Lord Jesus Christ and take Immersion Baptism.

Purpose of many RC False teachers is to ensure that no one repents, believe in Lord Jesus Christ and take Immersion Baptism and keep them as their spiritually blind followers and keep them in RC Idol worship False religion till they take them to hell with them.
