normally when i watch a live performance if they're not lip syncing i forgive the singer for not sounding as good and i'm just glad they're not lip syncing...but the beegees never lip sync...and i PREFER them live. no auto tune or editing needed here. Three of the best singers of all time.

This hit was a savior to my soul when I was suicidal in 1979 but Thank God this hit came and nightclubs in Fiji introduced Disco Dancing at 2pm to all College Students Grades 10-13 students, so these Bee Gees Hits were sort of Escape from my Broken-heart death pains.

Wow they have a 6 Decades of ministering to Souls devastated by Heartbreak since their formation of 1958. The Multi-Million or Billion people owe their life to the healing their hits have to their shattered decimated heart to smithereens by broken-heart but they were the God Divine Healer as an Anti-Venom and Anti-Dote to their Tragedy of Tragic Heartbreak.

The Bee Gees songs were part of my dads 1950s-1970s collections for they were part of his 1900s-1980s songs collections that were Anti-Venom & Anti-Dote to his Heartbreaks in 1944, 1950, 1959, 1966 & 1973. So he taught me that Love songs both gospel and secular are God Divine cure to all Heartbreaks and never believe in the hypocrisy by most Christians that secular love songs are evil. He was a former Choir Conductor for the Fiji School of Medicine Methodist Chapel of Doctors & Nurses both working and studying between 1953-1960. So I was blessed to believe in it for it cured my Heartbreak in 1976-7, 1980, 1987, 1994, 2008, 2010, 2015, 2018 till today especially with this 1979 hit.

Love and Thanks to all the worlds groups and artists for their God given talent in giving us Heartbroken individuals of the world from 1900s till end of the earth, if not for them we would have died from its death bites but their hits were our savior and healer, especially Bee Gees hits whom I have witnessed as it healed my dad's broken-heart and later on mine as well. I am always a One Woman Man till death and that is my uniqueness but also my vulnerability, but would never exchange it with nothing still Love and Thanks from your coconut crazy fan from the Edges of the Sand Dunes of Fiji.

When I was 14 years old in the 9th grade back in 1998, in my drama/theater class at school, the teacher gave us an assignment/project where we would pick a song and lip sync to it in front of the class. I had always loved Stayin' Alive, so I decided that this was the song I was going to do my lip sync to. I got my mom to take me to a vintage clothing store and I bought an awesome 70's disco outfit to wear for my lip sync...white bell bottom pants, platform shoes, and a brown yellow and orange disco shirt with a big wide pointed collar...When the day came and it was my turn to perform, I walked into the room in my disco outfit and started lip syncing and dancing to Staying Alive. The whole class went crazy...everyone loved it (well, most people did) and my performance was voted the class favorite...needless to say I got an A for the assignment, lol. I was so nervous about doing it, because I had always been really shy and quiet at school, but after it was over I was so glad that I decided to go through with it. I will remember it for the rest of my life. 😁
***Update*** The teacher actually did have a student who filmed each performance, so there probably is a video of it somewhere, so I'm working on trying to figure out where it could or who might have it. I have contacted several people that were in that class with me to see if they might have any idea who might have it. So far I haven't had any luck. I'm pretty sure the teacher probably had the original video tape, but unfortunately she passed away several years ago.
And yes, I have posted this comment before on this and other videos of Stayin' Alive, I just enjoy sharing my story with the people who may not have seen the original comment.
