This idea had been something I wanted to do since 2012. It's 2021 and I've finally had some time to learn the program. I'm quite happy how this turned out. Perhaps one of these days I should make Meet the Soldier with no helmet too!

Ok sure some find it cursed but honestly, seeing his face fully expressive adds to his character. Engie is humble and he seems to have friendly eyes and friendly personality, but boy can he turn on a dime and kill an entire team while cackling.

Might sound silly but my favorite expression here is
0:14, the arched brows on “purview of your conundrums of philosophy” is such a natural expression. Moves like live action to me, such good attention to detail.

Out of all the "Meet the Engi without goggles" videos, this is definitely the best one I've seen.
Unlike the others, this one doesn't make him look cursed by actually moving his eyes, eyebrows and eyelids where it's appropriate.
For someone whose eyes we've never seen, his eye movements are very in-character.

I’m sure everyone’s just gonna comment about how “cursed” this is but the eye movements are just awesome in this and I think I prefer over the original because of the increased expressiveness.

I recently rewatched Emesis Blue and I legitimately expected him to have no eyes

He looks extremely and strangely attractive without his glasses and helmet. I was surprised that no one said that here.

Those goggles really hide his sadistic side. I never noticed how sadistic he was until the rockets blew up scout's arm and smiled with wicked glee at the suffering. I always thought he was just proud of the rockets hitting their mark, but he takes pleasure in the pain of others.
