My HONEST thoughts after owning the Apple Vision Pro for 4 months

I have owned the Vision Pro for the last 4 months, and I am at a point now where I can give my honest thoughts on how I feel about the experience

I still enjoy mine I love love looking back at my pictures and videos in spatial. Took a trip to Montana and so glad I filmed a bunch of stuff. Really is so great to view those things back. Also underrated using it with your computer. My wants are more immersive content, to watch a full basketball game courtside in this thing would be epic.

This is basically why I picked up the Quest 3 instead. Cost effective, does the job, and more likely to attract developers - especially now with the 3S being super accessible. OLED and a higher resolution pass-through would be nice but not worth the difference imo.

Good video, I have had a similar experience with mine. I started taking videos specifically to rewatch on the AVP and that has really made it more useful.

I am watching this video on my AVP while typing on my MacBook Air. I Love this, however I purchase this second hand for half the original price. Apple is light years ahead of any competition in this type of tech as always, but the brand new price is what kept me away. You are spot on with new users ensuring the light seal is fitted for the user. I can wear mine for hours and though its another $200.00, its worth it. Overall the AVP is definitely not for everyone.

great video I was so close to do an impulsive buy, too. But I got meta Ray-Ban and quest 3 and a new graphic card instead. All of those cannot compete with that apple display but I can do so much more with them. I guess in the end of day, the issue is just how rich is rich enough.

A lack of app development due to the price was an issue I saw coming from before release. I told people this was an iPad for your face. It seems that is mostly what it turned out to be.

I am trying to work out the benefits of having such an expensive device. Ive got. QUEST 2 and can watch whatever i want and play games too

After seeing a number of videos on this, it seems that Apple are showcasing the corporate use of the device and not what Apple have previously dominated which is GRAPHICS.

I understand that Tim Cook has his own vision for Apple but did that, together with advancements in technology get them to where they are? Is absolute innovation the skill set that Tim Cook has?

I would've bought it by now if Apple allowed it to connect to PCVR (officially, not bootleg 3rd party apps). They're so anti-gaming. Right now I'm waiting for the Pimax Crystal Super.

Very nice video. Convenience is a feature of its own. And what I don't like on my Quest 3 is the typing experience.

What's your goto use case for it? Movies?

It would be nice but I think it’s way over priced . It seems like apple thought that this was going to change the game and it might have but when people seen the price that drew. Them away and it’s to bad because I would have loved to see them give meta a run for the finish line
