Live view of airplanes landing at Heathrow Airport as Storm Eunice batters Britain.

The Met Office has taken the rare step of issuing two “red” weather warnings – in south Wales and southwest England, and in London and the southeast – meaning it is very likely that dangerous winds will pose a risk to life.

While the national forecaster was braced for gales of up to 90mph in coastal regions, a gust of 122mph was recorded at the Needles on the Isle of Wight.

The 122nph was recorded at the Needles, one of the most exposed places in England. The so called record was only broken by 4 mph. So debatable. Wales and Scotland have had much stronger winds in the past, the Scottish record was 192mph decades ago.

In the bottom left is a red heart at the right of a string of letters. Seen from behind by the camera, these letters spell “I ❤️ UKRAINE’ in Russian.

Reminds me of an aborted landing at Nice where he went back up then had to do a sharp bank to the right to avoid the mountains, so all we saw was in the windows was the Mediterranean. Argh!!!!

Notice how the dialogue has been (mercifully) muted … this guys videos would be appealing if he’d only shut up . No one needs to hear his inane banter.
