Anyone who's raised children to be responsible adults knows exactly how to fix Portland.

A better world? - by who's definition? - less self responsibility is "better"? - more governmental control over the citizens is "better"? - redistribution of other people's wealth (not the elites', because they are, well, elite) is "better"? - dividing the population into factions based on skin color or any other grouping is "better"? - better by who's definition?

Leftists: Let's replace ideas that work with ideas that sound good.
{chaos and calamity ensues}
Leftists: We have no idea how this happened.
People: This sucks, I'm leaving to a place that still works
Also People having moved: It's good here, but you know what would make this place even better? I have some ideas that sound good.

This did not explain why the homeless and societal breakdown are found mostly in democrat cities, they should own their own mismanagement

I was an anarchist as a punk in 77 in London. Then I went home and got a life.

Well done Zubi. You managed to get the first few minutes to sum up Brett’s position very well.

First come the people who want to share the work. They create prosperity. Then come those who want to share the wealth, not the work. The death knell comes when those wanting to redistribute the wealth get in management positions and outnumber those who want to share the work. To date no city has ever recovered from this.

Our responsibility to each other? I'm me, 24 hours a day. Let's start there before putting others on me

Basically this is the giant sucking sound that Ross Perot warned us about

If you truly believe in criminal justice reform you wouldn't threaten bakers with incarnation for the refusal of mixing eggs and flower

Sure.... anarchists are well known for their desire to see a strong central government which facilitates a planned economy.

There are anarchists in black bloc but black bloc is not an anarchist movement and those who claim it is are ill informed or bad actors.

Catherine Austin Fitts made a good point. The burned down blocks were located in areas that were ripe for buying up cheap by corp. So, there may have been an intentional, diabolical, reason for the burning of businesses, so burned and destroyed that they were beyond ins help. Imagine.

Liberalism and socialism/communism are very separate things guys. I see no liberalism in Portland.

Mrs Pelton said the other day to me that she thinks the UK government has the best interests for us all in their minds and that it will all be fine soon and we can soon go back to normal again, "These things always happen." she added.

"There's no safety net to catch the people who have fallen off of the bottom of the ladder..."
I do not think this is correct. There is more money spent on social programs and "Safety net" than ever before.

I have no time for the looney left or the radical right. The fringes are tearing us apart.
