Struggling with creating environments in Blender? In this tutorial/breakdown, Max shows us how he approached an environment workflow using ONLY Blender 2.8

Max covers how to properly use concept art and translate it into 3D, how to create large amounts of stylized assets QUICKLY, and most importantly, how to make sure that the overall style of all the assets stay consistent.
Max will also give us a quick look into how to utilize Blenders atmospheric settings to create fog and mist.
Not only that, Max will talk about some of the key aspects of lighting and how to utilize lights to really get your scene to the next level.

The use of AO to show melted snow....GENIUS!

When you blast cheesy music for 5 minutes during a youtube video it makes it hard to focus / understand you.

"Because all boards are special" best line in a tutorial ever

This is not for begginers! (no one said it was)
The techniques used are mindblowing and if you don't have knowledge beforehand you won't understand a thing!
Will need to watch again to understand the clouds...
The AO as procedural "melt" is genius

But... How long took to make the scene?

Love seeing tutorials that cover a lot of techniques without getting bogged down in the details.

The cloud workflow is absolutely amazing!
You really pushed it far by using so many features

I really like this video thanks a lot for it, here are 2 nit picks regarding the music:
1. i really don't like the happy stock music, uploading the whole video without music might be an option because in that case I can listen to my own (not on phone tho).
2. The absence of the once happy music makes this video feel a bit like too many cooks from adult swim XD.
Anyways keep up the good stuff!

Thank you for the breakdown of your scene, i have seen the end result on discord and found it lovely! This gave me a good insight of how you composed the scene

Do you think you could reupload this one? It’s really nicely put together but the music’s definitely taking away from it!

Thanks for showing your workflow and happy blending with Blender 3d

Please re-upload this video without music if you can. I know that a lot of people have said it and I don't want to be disrespectful of the work you've done. Yet, it makes it hard to grasp what you're saying and concentrate on the content of the video.

This looks great otherwise, thanks for sharing your expertise with us!

Guy - Your gonna want to use an HDR. I'm not using one here but...
Also Guy - I'm going to show a node setup. Its pretty simply. Proceeds to show 30+ nodes.

Really cool, never actually thought of Blender to do something like this. I'm going to try. ^^

I had the idea of making illustrations using Blender 2.8 (Because I’m not an awesome artist 😂) but I didn’t know where to start until I looked at this. Keep it up with Blender tutorial! 😁
