I don't like the beauty blender for that reason too.. I like fenty beauty's sponge its nice.. But I'm looking to try others I've only tried 4 different kinds of sponges two of them low budget both weren't that good and the beauty blender and fenty sponge.. I heard eco tools is a good one maybe it was a different kind then yours that I heard was good..
