KY History Treasures | Gideon Shryock and the Old State Capitol

The 1830s Greek Revival-styled Old State Capitol is the center focus of this episode. KHS Museum Programs Coordinator Carol Bolton Easterly draws on the history of the building and the original architect Gideon Shryock. This video is from the 2021-2022 season of “Kentucky History Treasures,” a series produced by Lexington’s ABC 36, WTVQ.
