You shouldn't put a motherboard on the anti-static bag that it comes in, you should put it straight on the cardboard.
The anti-static bag is conductive and should not be what the motherboard sits on when you're testing. 👌

Honestly you could have repaired it if you knew how to solder im kinda sick of these pc channels who say they repair pcs but don’t have advanced repairing knowlage besides dusting and jump starting a mobo

Couple things. Mixed matched RAM isn't that big an issue anymore since DDR3 and DRR2 days, stop reading old "how to" documents lol. Next even tho it's mixed and matched it can still run dual channel... If you put it in the right fucking slots. 1-3 and 2-4 instead you put the two white sticks in 1-2 so now he legit has no benefits of his RAM despite mixed and matched. Please educate yourselfs ❤❤❤❤

Its likely that he scratched something in the mother board or accidentally fried it with too much power from the power supply
