"This is not a place of honor" the fastest way for me to go from intrigued at a mystery to "Oh fuck"

"The existence of turn signals in passenger vehicles"

Man this aint even anomalous

If multiverses exist, there must be, collectively, out there in the vastness of existence, an Exploring Series narration for every SCP.

6:50 I can feel the salt flowing from the original author when they wrote that a Lethe event caused everyone to forget about their turn signals, and I can relate.

Can I just say that classical Spacesuits weaponized for combat is like the one of the coolest aesthetics out there? Destiny 1 was the first time I saw it. Next time was briefly in Fallout 4, then heavily in CoD: Infinite Warfare.

"In 2020, however, the world changes. Humanity become aware of anomalies through a K-class scenario."
Of course, even in SCP universe, 2020 is a pain the ass year.

"SCPs are cool, and space is cool."
Wholeheartedly agreed!

Really love that pattern screamer one. Does such a good job of conveying unreality and how matter, symbols, and media can be offgasses of a process absolutely alien to us.

I'm pretty sure they attempted the hammer on the monolith to confirm it was non-organic. The toothbrush, directly quoted from the article, "displays the ability to effortlessly cleave through any and all dead or inorganic matter." Thus, if one of the two doesn't work, logically the other should; of course it doesn't, but I think that's a neat little touch, adding another layer to how durable it is.

They turned a anomaly into a cake? That’s the funniest way that I’ve ever heard of the foundation neutralizing a anomaly

I love this canon because it always bothered me how the SCP seems to be an organization that can deal with metaphysical threats that could destroy entire multiverse clusters with a single fart and yet they almost always seem earthbound. It's good to see some writers addressing how the Foundation would deal with everything in between.

I really appreciate Schrodinger's Argument Against the Hypothetical Colonization of Hypothetically Inhabited Hypothetical Planets

On second thought, I also appreciate how this is reminiscent of the Somebody Else's Problem field generator from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. It's the most effective shipboard stealth device ever, because rather than attempting to defeat detection, it simply convinces the observer that whatever theyre detecting is 'Somebody else's problem", prompting them to ignore it completely, confident that the proper individual will take care of it

The sense of eerieness and complete bafflement that surrounds the Foundation's investigation of SCP-3841 is exactly what I imagined the events of End of Evangelion would look like to an outside observer who arrived decades or centuries after everyone got tanged. Really nailed that sense of cosmic horror.

I imagine that was the intention, as the Lilith-expy not only resembles the creatures it spawned (as humans are Lilin) but leaks a fluid that serves the purpose of generating a primordial "soup of life".

I'd say this is a masterclass on taking a concept that you want to expand upon and putting your own spin on it. Very well done!

“Wouldn’t turning universe’s potentially strongest cage into a cake hilarious?” said moments before turning into a spooky skeleton.

I was concerned when one of my favourite humans hadn't posted in a while. Great to see you back.

The "false vacuum" of 24:45 is actually a real idea in real physics - the current evidence allows for the possibility that the Higgs field (which among other things contributes to the masses of several particles). If the masses of fundamental particles were different (as it would in a true vacuum), then their physical interactions would also be very different.

I like the idea that a canon might be based off from an already existing one. Like you can make a head canon where the Broken Masquerade is the prequel to this one
