Chris Pine as Hal Jordan it could work just watched both JJ Abrams Star Trek couple days ago. Idris Elba as John Stewart is the only actor acceptable for the part. Mark Walhberg as Guy Gardner, heard some Youtuber suggest that actor for that role and I'm on board with that idea.

Not bad, and now we know who is going to play him in the justice league movie. DC taking cues from marvel here, with the characters getting their own movie before the big JLA.

Focusing more on the Green Lantern Corps and less on a single GL seems like a good move to me... but then again I just don't like Hal Jordan all that much and when I do, it is when he is not the focus but interacting with others that are sharing or taking center stage.  Here's hoping they decide they don't need overly detailed character origins and just establish the Green Lantern Corps (perhaps some of the other Corps) itself.
