I would suggest having a secondary account that is 100% f2p if you wanna play with mods. With mihoyo changing their detection (recently people got banned on HSR using GIMI) frequently you won't want to risk your main account ESPECIALLY if you've spent any money cuz the vast majority of the bans are 10+ years. Always mod at your own risk.

PS: for the Venti one, in 4.1 a lot of mod broke but you can find the .exe that correct broken mods (won't give link for obvious reason)

Basically the mod told the GPU that it need to render something, not telling the game itself. This is skimming right above what's acceptable for them, they don't really change the game files, just what your GPU showing offline. Proven by people can't even see your mods, as it is like offline gaming. So this *should* be fine, as long as you don't show the mod with your UID online.

In Razor terms, GIMI mods are just an overlay of your current character that is completely seperate from the game files. You can tell this apart as when you switch to a new character for the first time, you game spikes a bit and you can see the original character/weapon.
Personally, I've been using FPS unlocker and mods simultaneously and no ban so far.

As someone who plays with 100 mods everyday for months, its very safe BUT i will not justify and say there is no risks. Every modder knows this however mihoyo has not pulled the trigger for years now. No one has been ban in genshin however mihoyo clearly has the technology since they proved it in hsr. Those who got ban got a 1 week suspension (treat it like a warning) and if they got ban again, the period will be significantly longer.

That being said just be responsible for your actions, if u can’t handle the fact that your acc might be ban one day then dont mod. But also like i said, no one has been ban in genshin so far, so take that fact as u will

Modding is fine as long as you don’t make changes to the actual files in the game. All you are doing when modding skins is overlaying textures locally from your pc and not actually changing any files for the characters in the game. As long as you don’t post your uid while moddin you will be fine. If you’re that worried than there are free software for modding on private servers.

But issue is, this is very recent news but a lot of people got banned for using GIMI on bonkai star rail, and people tested this by making new account and using gimi on star rail and it would always get banned consistently. Since its new detection by mihoyo they might implement it into genshin randomly at one day causing a lot of genshin gimi users to get banned, and the ban is 10 years.

You said “I save genshin on c drive” many times, when launch genshin, migoto show you that you installed genshin on D drive. Good job.

* Recommends repeatedly to put mods on the same drive as the game (even though that's not important).
* Puts them on drive C: where game launcher is.
* Game actually installed on drive D: 7:07

BTW, considering it gets into game's render pipeline and even renders own UI during startup it is not as safe as you may think and hoyo can quite easily detect it. They just don't care that much about mods like this. In fact, they may as well download a list of checksums of model files when they load the game and check models game loads or occasionally check models in memory. Once again, they don't seem to care enough.
