Morning! Zone 2 here ! 🥶(gets down to minus 45) and let me tell you it can be frustrating finding perennials. There are (on avg) 6 frost-free weeks per year🤷‍♀️. I live vicariously through this wonderful community...lol! 🌿🇨🇦🌿

This is a perfect video for established gardens! Mine are pretty full already and these are great choices to fill in nooks and crannys. We just had overgrown yews, burning bushes, quinces and boxwoods taken out today, and now comes the part where we find smaller/more manageable shrubs to replace them. Your channel is so helpful and enjoyable - I can't believe how much I've learned from watching your videos. Keep up the good work!

Laura, this is packed full with excellent advice... you never want to plant something that wants to be bigger than the space.. and so many people want to shear everything to death and wonder why their plant is ugly and unhappy.. knowing growth habit is so important... if you want a box shape plant buy a boxwood not an azalea! ❤️
