Just test drove one yesterday and this video with headphones in is spot on exactly how this car sounds! Now I'm gonna be re-watching this video to relive my own test drive haha.

To all haters: welcome to the 21th century! V8 maybe was high-tec back in the 50s, but now we have the same torque out of 4cylinders but only 1/5 fuel consumption. Yes, I also love the sound of a V8, but that's all. If you think rational, you won't buy a V8, especially as a daily driver. This 4cyl. Mustang is a very good compromise of power and economy. P.S. Start loving the 4cylinders before it's too late, electric cars are coming! ;)

Wow, your video makes the 4 cylinder sound better than any of the other videos of it do. Still not as good as the V8 but wow that doesn't sound bad at all. And the powerband still seems to be really good even though there isn't much power after 5, 600 rpm. Great work! Thank you for this!

I don't care where the engine noise is coming from, it sounds GOOD.
A 2.3l engine that performs like this is amazing.

you guys gotta remember. if you run the ecoboost in this car to make the Horse power they advertise you must run at least 93 octain (or the highest you can find) if you run normal 87 or the cheapest you can find than the V6 will make more power all day since its designed for 87 and makes 300HP.

I just special ordered the ecoboost! I'm excited for it to come in. Soooo many people are hating on it...I mean the original fords were v4 ehh. Mustangs are not all about the V8's (though it's nice).

So very impressed with the turbo 4....the proof is in the pudding, the 2.3L delivers. Six months ago I was very skeptical but the videos out are proving how sweet the twin-turbo version is.

That's so good sounding. It's like a throaty four cylinder rather than the usual farty sound. I'm actually glad to see ford approached it with engine noise in mind! Not that farty four cylinders are bad though, it's just cool to hear something like this.

About time! I bet the sales potential for this car in Europe is fairly good, where v8's are expensive to import, tax and drive. This is a sensible package, at least for EU market. One can finally buy a Mustang, with licence plates!

I believe the ecoboost is a success, and only in America you can buy a new car with manual gear box. And it's amazing we have people who know how to drive using 3 peddles and a shifter
