This actually made me a bit proud. I am a relatively new snake owner (about 1, 5 years). I now have 2 BP in 2 enclosures. I use DHP and a diming thermostat to them both and have actually been doing that for a year. It is so much easier and safe with that thermostat and the heat is much more consistent. I use an ordinary LED bulb (no heat) as a daylight source and that is also connected to my thermostat which switches it on and off on a timer.

The T5 shadedweller 8watt are very useful for ball pythons too! Arcadia is such a good brand indeed. Have you tried their Deep Heat Projectors? It heats differently than a regular ceramic heat bulb. Those who've used it immediately notice a difference in the behaviour of their snakes. Also, I knew about the importance of UVB but didn't know exactly about metabolic acidosis, learned something. Thanks for that

I don't know why but I just feel like Kevin was maybe trying a little harder in this video than usual and maybe subconsciously was paying homage to Brian realizing such a vibrant voice is no longer with us.
