You can also find the 6.0 in 2500 vans, Escalades and denalis. I’ve seen plenty of them in local junkyards.

If you don’t plan on buying that particular supercharger. I recommend going with 243 casting number, cathedral, port heads. They are more readily available, not nearly as expensive, and they can flow very well with a good port and polish

The best way for cheap ls builds are to buy a c5 corvette and have a car thats aerodynamic and quick in stock form. Simpler mods will go a long way on a car built to haul ass

I had a Malibu like that when I was younger and it was the fastest car I've ever been in 😂 they are extremely light, and with a good engine and transmission these cars will fly❤

The biggest benefit of the LS is its size, and if you have the aluminum version from the Corvette it's weight . V8 horsepower and torque from something that weighs as much as your average 4-cylinder .

Finally everyone talks about the LQ9 but the LQ4 is way better you dont have todo VVL or VVT deletes, they are cheaper, and stock have a stronger top end. And all around are just the easy way to make a ls3 for way cheaper then going LQ9 or LS3. Pick up the motor for like $300 compared to LQ9’s that go for more cause the VVT and VVL making them like $400-$500
