It's really sad that because of the lack of context and explanation, people in the comments have no idea how significant and interesting the google deep dream is. 

It is a computer taking everything it learns from the internet to try and figure out what it is actually looking at. And from what we are seeing, most of the things from the internet are dog and cat pics combined the computer's own confusion and fascination with eyes.

It is a computer trying to understand the world.
