Hi guys, great show! Thanks for all the content and tips!

Just adding some thoughts to the topics you mentioned. I'm quite sure they are still valid in Revit 2021, not sure if they changed it in the newest versions.

- Only instance parameters from the nested family can be mapped in the host family. Type parameters cannot;
- The "shared" parameter can also be found in the Properties pallete, under "other" categorie. I guess is a bit easier to find;
- Once you loaded a shared family in a host family or in a model, you cannot un-share it. I guess you need to change the name of the family and reload it as a new one. It is a bit pain in the ass, so this feature should be used with caution.

I respect his knowledge and sharing of information only one level of nesting is to little for information perspective and use.
I use max 2 levels of nesting in the basics. I work with revit for 12, 5 years and a long time family creation.
I worked at architectural companies and contractors and the last one is more to the I in BIM as architects are more into only geometry (in basics).

Hi Jeff wonderful session yesterday really glad I was able to watch it live - precious information for sure! Can you please post more info on how Brenton made that glass hatch pattern with PyRevit?

Damn... grouped invisible lines for labels is smart. Not as smart as using metric units, but very impressive none the less!

Thank you a lot, Do you prefer to lock the centre of the nested family to the correct reference plan or host the nested family to the reference plan?
