I went to a counsellor when I was having some family issues. The counsellor gave me advice that was really not appropriate because they did not know me and did not have all the background. I went ahead and did it the way I felt comfortable with and it worked out the way that I thought it should. The counsellors advice was just not how I would deal with anything, so yes, I am learning you really need to deal with things on your own with solitude, going within…meditation, visualization, etc. ❤

I never tell anyone anything I'm doing. Judgement always follows especially if that person doesn't agree with me or if they discover that I'm doing smart things and they can't or don't want to do that themselves. You would be surprised at the shock people exhibit when I tell them I have no social media and I like my privacy.

Good to hear this because I tend to share as I go with good intentions ... but you make a really good point that people who aren't receptive and can't understand will counter, question and doubt.
