Guys try this out i just did it and it worked. My 2nd acc would work and have all the mainstream music etc. But my main acc wouldnt work. What i did was deactive my 2nd acc and now all the music is coming back to my main and i can put mainstream music on my main acc now, try it. Been struggling with this for a week 💀 hopefully works for you guys

This just happened to me today. A somewhat fix I found is just searching for the song you want in instagram and saving the audio. I'm able to use any song I save, at least for me, on stories so I hope it helps you to.

this didn’t work although I did find a loop hole if you search the song you want up in the search bar, favorite the song go back to the music tab on your story click favorites & it should work

If yall want to post on ur story with music search the song up in the search bar where u can find ppl accounts and famous post and all that. Once u searched it up click audio and it will show all the related songs and show u if they have the song ur looking for or not. Once u find it SAVE it which is on the top right ur screen. Go back and try putting music on ur story but before searching the song go to saved songs which is right in front of ur when u click to find music. This is a temporary fix and idk how to fix the insta notes.

I have some music from old or not well known artists on my story, I can use all the songs I have been using on my reels or notes but as soon as I go to my story all the well known artists and music I usually post will say no result found.
