In this video I will show you how to flash the Sonoff Zigbee Bridge with Tasmota and how to integrate it straight into Home Assistant using ZHA. The Sonoff Zigbee Bridge is a very nice little Zigbee hub for the money, its small, cheap and its excellent for 3rd party firmware like Tasmota. Tasmota is an open source firmware that allows you to control your esp8266 based devices quickly, easily and locally.

There seems to be issues with the latest version (9.3.0+) of Tasmota which are the current latest releases, which is causing disconnects of either the bridge itself from Wifi or sometimes devices are dropping off.

I'm using version 9.1.0 in this video and has been absolutely flawless, I suggest using this version instead of the latest at the moment till the issues are sorted, I will try to update this in future when newer releases are safe again.

A note for late comers to this video which is perfectly done BTW. If you are trying to flash a v1.1 2020.02.28 board do not use the latest version of tasmota or the zigbee firmware, Tasmota will flash just fine but the zigbee firmware will not. You have you use tasmota 9.1.0 and then use zigbe ncp-uart-sw_6.7.6_115200.ota. Every other combination failed to flash the zigbee radio. Other than that this tutorial is perfect.. I hope that could save others time and it would be nice if it was mentioned or pinned at the top of the comment...

Thank you very much. Just a tip for those who face the "Upload failed - wrong signature" while uploading the uart file. Before uploading the file type "Backlog Weblog 3; so65 1; Module 75" in tasmota console.

Fixed my previous integration by following this video. Static IP addresses really help here. My router gave my bridge a new address and sent my system into a tailspin. But as ever 10 minutes with your video and everything is working again.

best, most clear guide I found. Now if you could just start your videos by saying, "It's now 3:30, let's get started."

You can make flashing a bit easier by powering the bridge via the micro USB port. You can short gpio 0 to ground while connecting it. After that you only have to hold down RX and TX while flashing.

Thanks for this video! I've been deciding between the Sonoff Zigbee WiFi Bridge and the new Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus. I have great luck with my 35 IoT devices on my multi-AP home WiFi network and your posts help convince me that the Sonoff Zigbee WiFi Bridge is a stable solution!

I love this guide although I've had many issues that didn't go as smooth as it is shown here and took me about 3-4 hours to resolve all of them. Finally it worked for me, great stuff!

Thanks, I should have gone straight to your video, the two previous tutorials I followed failed to mention your point 7:34 where you selected the newly created template. Without that it was not starting the port 8888 part.

Same issues here, version 1.1. With color box orange. Flash was successful, when locating then inputting network and password with option of changing device name and saving. The bridge powers off and blink blue for a bit and powers off. Reflashed a couple of times with the same results. Did you get yours up successfully? UPDATE: I Was able to figure it out. Works great. Thanks
