My mom was a body builder around 30-40 years ago, and she also hates the way body building has gone for women. My mom never took steroids because she knew she wanted kids one day and looking at pictures from her in her hay day, she is absolutely stunning! She's almost 70 now and is still incredibly active. She's slowly developed some health issues, but nothing like other women her age. Personally I think a lot of modern body builder look like beasts, in a negative way. Seeing pictures of my mom and dad (he was a body builder too, but passed in 2019), it's so amazing. Everyone on stage is just so striking 😲 now they are scary 😨
