I love junkyards but we had a great one near us that you could barter with the guy. I remember when I was a kid, my Dad and I got a gas tank and almost a full interior of a car for $40 and a case of beer. That old timer was awesome. It's pricier now, but still much better than going to the dealer, ebay, or buying a donor car.

we have one of those about an hr drive from me wish it was closer. I got an entire dash console for my pickup for $25 . They already had it pulled but the person left it and never came back for it. I got it. :D

We have something like this in Minnesota called You Pull Our Parts and i love to go there with my friends to get stuff for when I have a car. I currently don't have a car. Im actually going to pay off my fines and I'll be getting my license back soon. I'm hoping to be back on the road within the next 6 months.

That's the way to go. Why buy new, when you can find perfectly good used parts?

The last junkyard I went to I saw a car filled with a bullet holes. The headrest of the driver seat had at least 50 holes in it. I love seeing crazy stuff at junkyards
