I just received my grades, and it's making me question the accuracy of those mock exams on YouTube. I performed much better than the man in the video on that day, even surpassing some of the Band 6.5 performances I've seen. Even instructors of my online course conservatively estimated I could achieve Band 6.5, possibly even a 7. Yet, I only got Band 6. Looking on the bright side, my overall score still meets Band 7 standards...

I would also not count on a so high band in the real exam. Because, compared to me, he was a little bit better, and I hardly got a band 6. So, it’s rather 6.5 or even 6. But nevertheless this guy is a good example of an exam taker and just was nervous. And I criticised his performance only so that people are not overconfident.

you can never get 7 in a real exam if you do the same thing like this man, I think his coherence and fluency are below 7, just around 6
