In this video we will continue considering the SI Units used in connection with the electrical industry. We will learn the SI Units of temperature, including their mathematical and unit symbols. We'll also see why the electrical industry uses different units for temperature from the SI system. As a bonus we'll also see the difference between heat and temperature. The issue with Centigrade, was its also the general term for an hundred point scale, hence the change to Celsius. But it was certainly still confused when I was at school in the 80's with different teachers using the terms interchangeably, though as you don't recall marathon bars (which I was shocked by), maybe this had cleared up by the time you'd made it.

Until 1969 it was actually degree Kelvin. But since then it‘s only Kelvin.
