Thank you everyone for the great feedback on my first on-camera video both here and those that sent me emails. For this first video I wanted to focus on the video quality and getting used to being on camera. Future videos will have more images and animations so it's not just my face talking to you the entire video. Thanks again everyone!

Hi John, good one, thanks! The points you share are crucial and highlights the typical engineer's trap of just "working harder/being a good soldier" instead of "working smarter/being a good general". An entrepreneur has to take the engineering hat off and put on the business-builder's hat more often. And thanks for saying that it's uncomfortable and not sugarcoating it. :)

Hello John, It is Zubi and is just good to see you live out what you preach. I believe Hardware academy will experience an increase in membership because people now feel a true taste of the academy when they see and hear you. Keep it up!

Great advice thanks, John. MVP is essential certainly and I have also found it extremely useful in working with a manufacturing partner with knowledge of marketing that has worked for them in other products. You don't need to do everything yourself! Looking forward to the next video.

good begining. you may try to make it like a Power point presentation. so that the 3 key points are on screen all the time, and you r explaining what each means

I have a simple strategy that has made me much much much more productive. I keep a spresdsheet with all my tasks and I sort then into 'chore' and 'fun'. I just make sure to do the 'chore' tab first. It sounds so dumb but this has significantly sped up development.

Hi John I read one of your articles on pricing and it said to shoot for four times your cost of goods sold. Right now my mechanical parts list is at $800 and I'm confident the market won't support $3200. on a high-end product like this is it reasonable to shoot for 50% 1200$ instead of 400% markup? Ps I was a member for a while but can't justify it until this thing starts generating something... This video on marketing is really good I was afraid to show my product in public for fear the idea would get stolen it's such a killer idea but you make it very clear it may only be a killer idea to me... So I'm losing my fear of showing it in public
