The Vengeful One. Scary/Horror stories.

On July 23rd, 1995 in Midway, Arkansas two best friends, Steve Hannat and Jace Kelley, both 17 years old, asked Steve’s mom to drop them off at the lake that morning so they could go fishing.

When Steve’s mom came later that evening to pick up the boys they were nowhere to be found. The next day one of the boys was found along a deserted highway 1,379 miles away from the lake they’d been fishing at.

Scary/Horror stories claiming to be real by the people who lived them and told them. Real or not? You decide. For legal reasons all stories have been declared as fictitious. Good, scary story! Quite entertaining. I grew up in Arkansas and had never heard of Midway. I see it is in Baxter County, a long way from the southern part of the state where I grew up.

Midway Arkansas isn't too far from where I grew up and I was actually working for the Corps of Engineers doing maintenance on the lakes during the time frame stated in this story. I was captivated and a little panicked over the story thinking how did I not remember all this going on... Then I read the disclaimer, Excellent job!! I have walked many miles around Bull Shoals and Norfork Lake and there are many rough areas around them
