Another great film that Pacino did, that rarely gets mentioned, was, "And Justice For All". Saw this film 2-3X; it was excellent.

Had it landed Joe Pesci and Brendan Fraser, Scent of a Woman would have inadvertently been a hysterical dead pan comedy.

In the scene where Pacino walks across the street against the “walk” green and ends up in traffic he trips over a trash can. This was not scripted. Pacino claimed later he “couldn’t see it”. Deep character dive.

Blindness is a risk for both sides of my family. My aunt and two of my uncles only dad side are blind due to a congenital condition called Retinitis Pigmentosa, which causes progressive tunnel vision. My mother has glaucoma, which causes major blind spots in her vision. I’m planning to watch this film ASAP and compare Al Pacino’s performance to how some of my family behave.
