Kurt Angle was a MEGAstar, even a WWF hater in WCW is using his catchphrase on a sign.

Loved all the details on what will happen in the fall with Nitro/Thunder being taped together, Austin meeting Vince about his return and Heyman needing to find a network.

Vince Russo is right about the WWF though, while 2000 was awesome, it was 1999 part 2.

They didn’t add any new elements to the writing and cruised on Russo’s format and momentum, for example 1997 and 1998 have major differences, 1998 and 1999 etc

But 2000 is a beat by beat continuation of 1999/Russo’s format.

2001 they run out of new things to do under the format, but it was still awesome was still way better than what happened when they deviated from his format in 2002.
