Very smart, you got the right idea. I just posted my video using bacon fat to cook popcorn instead of oil. It's so good and went really well with my "whiskey juice" lol 🥓🍿🥃 Maybe not the healthiest snack but very good for mental health, I would say lol 🤣

How do you make your bacon? Do you deep-fry your bacon? I just use a blob of butter in the pan. And then one can literally wipe the pan clean afterwards with a paper towel.

Flavor your green ears, add birdseed and feed the birds this winter, cook eggs, potatoes, corn, use in salad dressings, fry all of your meat in the bacon oil. Start all of your soups by sauteing your vegetables instead of butter. Make bacon jam.

Back in my grandmother’s day, when nothing was wasted, she had a set of dry cooking ingredient tins( flour, sugar, etc.). The smallest one was for bacon grease, but it had a pinprick hole in it. I inherited them, and found out my mother had collected stamps from an IGA grocery store to buy the canisters for her.
I also found out bacon grease is a toxic carcinogen.
