Today we are looking at the easest off-grid power solution for your cabin, tiny house or RV. The Bluetti EB240 is an awesome solar generator.

This portable solar power unit can produce 1000 watts of pure sinewave power from its built-in inverter. The power is drawn from a 2400 Watt-hour lithium-ion battery. It also has four USB charging ports and one USB-C charging port along with a 12 volt 9 amp DC outlet. This unit can be charged with standard solar panels using MC for connectors with voltage up to up to 60 volts DC and 10 amps. If you're looking for an easy way to power your off grid cabin or RV this solar generator may be the solution that you were looking for.

Thanks for doing a great job in your review of the 2400wh Bluetti. A few weeks ago I bought this model, along with two Jackery 1000wh solar generators, and two Jackery 100 watt foldable solar panels.... I live in a small house in a remote area of the Southern California Mohave desert where the power goes off every year a number of times--usually when the temperature outside is above 110... I've been in the same house for 44 years (I was born in 1937), and wanted some method of battery backup that was simple to use and would run some things in my place to save my refrigerated food and to power one of my two through the wall AC's. One of the AC's is a 6000 btu LG, remote controlled 8 year old model, traditional window AC, that I modified slightly to be able to put through the wall...My power went off a week ago right at midnight while the temp outside was still over 100. The power came back on at 4:30 am. During the outage I had the first trial with the new solar generators. Neither of the Jackery's could handle the power surge to keep the AC running, but the Bluetti was able to run it. While the Bluetti was running the AC, I plugged one of the Jackery's into the Bluetti and it did great in charging the Bluetti while the Bluetti was powering the AC. I used the other Jackery 1000 to power my desktop computer, a light, and a 3 small fans, and to alternate back and forth between powering my small freezer and the apartment sized refrigerator. The Bluetti worked beautifully and so did both Jackerys. All in all, I think my investments were a success. In the future I'd like to buy a second Bluetti 2400, in order to guarantee some extra power for longer power failures. These Power Generators are beautifully designed high tech. gizmos. The Bluetti is a bit heavy for an old guy like me to move around, but the Jackerys are perfect for placing anywhere one needs 1000whs.

Thanks for your presentation. I have been looking at different reviews of this product.. I appreciate the simple demo of plugging things in. As an older single woman with not much electrical knowledge I need all the input I can get. For those who complain of the price Amazon currently has a 200.00 off coupon bringing this unit down to 1699.00.

I am appalled at all the negative comments on this site. Thank you for putting this information out.

I respect the points you made in this video. I disagree with some of the snarky comments made in response to your presentation. So many of the snarky comments focus on the $2, 000 price tag. But what they ignore is the total price includes the components & the finished workmanship of the product. Sure there are those who could build their own equivalent systems after ordering & assembling the parts, wires, fuses, cabinet, etc. But I dare say when they cost out those items plus their own labor, they will find a total that far exceeds the price paid for this unit. As for those talking about lead acid battery alternatives, it must be noted that those options immediately sacrifice portability as the weight would be suitable only for stationary installs or vehicles. I think this is a wonderful product for those wanting significant human-portable power beyond 35 amp hour base units.

$1, 900 for the generator and $1, 300 for the 4 plug-in solar panels or recharging. A bit expensive but it looks to be plug-and-play. When they shut down the grid it would be well worth the investment.

I just received my Bluetti and panels yesterday so this video was so timely for me! It was great to see you talk through it. Can’t wait to take it out of the box and check it out, Thanks!

Awesome.. I live in the Bitterroots and just started my quest for energy independence. This would greatly help out my gas generator I haven't purchased solar panels but have them on my shopping list along with wind turbine. My plan was to dedicate a 12v battery to each panel for my grow lights using USB connection because I recently purchased 600 bamboo seeds

It's amazing how compact it is for a solar generator that powerful, a true beast⚡ thx for uploading the content I spent some tedious time anticipating whether the device was worth investing $1000+ but now I'm rest assured an non commercial but authentic guarantee😎

thanks for this review. Now that you had it for a few months how has it performed? Also it would have been nice if you would have mentioned how long it took to fully charge on AC as well as from solar panel.

Great information looks like a great product one thing I did notice on your cabin was that you have a double vapor barrier FYI you should have used a non papered insulation with the plastic or just take the paper off otherwise you can cause trapped moisture and your walls which will cause mold will probably take a long time based upon its a paper backing and not two layers of plastic but in any case it is still considered a double vapor barrier

I tried to make a poor man's version of one of these power stations a few years ago. I bought the pure sine wave inverter, a 12-volt, 100 amp lead-acid battery (lithium was not available), and the rest of the parts. I slapped it all together and it worked great, but the clutter of cables and miscellaneous parts made it impractical to move around. Conclusion - don't bother building your own power station. You will never do as good a job as the commercially built power stations, and the small amount of money you save (if any) isn't worth the trouble.

How very interesting. After watching this I really think I “get” how this stuff works. I had no idea before. You explain it all so well and the examples are superb. Thanks so much! Think I will browse around all your other videos. 🇺🇸🤗

I'm going to go ahead and say, this is a convenient, expensive, portable unit. I'm going to go ahead and say, quite often, the weak point in solar systems, is the amount of battery storage. I'm going to go ahead and say, this unit, would be a nice backup system, and it's portability would come in handy. I'm going to go ahead and say, the box opening was so informative.

Thanks Marin. We recently moved to the mountains into an all electric home and were looking for ways to keep the fridge charged and some of our appliances charged. Thanks for the video.
