This made me more emotional than I was expecting. "This service is now closed" is like some dystopian slogan indicative of the times.

I owe pretty much all that I am to Kerrang and Scuzz being on constantly on Sky. Sad times

I was all over Kerrang back in 01-02. That was my life, along with pro wrestling. Great times just before i hit my teen years.

Kerrang was a big part of my teens and fed my love for heavy metal music

it's crazy that they managed to fit every song they've ever played into that last video! /s

Huge part of my childhood! It made the summer holidays what they were in 2001. Good times ❤

The two hours between arriving home from school and my parents getting home: I’d make myself a snack, sit on the sofa and switch between Kerrang, Scuzz and occasionally MTV2. That was pretty much every weekday from 2001 to 2007. Honestly, just two hours of genuine peace all by myself discovering and enjoying great bands. I owe so much of my formative years in music to Kerrang. The end of an era. Thanks for the memories!

Aside from Tony hawks 1 and 2, most of my "new finds" in the early 2000s came from Kerrang, I even bought the compilation CDs when they came out!! Sad times all around, thank you for uploading this!!

I discovered Kerrang at about the age of ten, channel surfing around the time it launched. It's the reason I got into music. I owe it an awful lot.

I went back to it every now and again in the last few years and it was stuck in its heyday showing the same 500 videos it did in 2003 without really adding anything new. It’s a great shame as Kerrang magazine is sometimes quite good in the innovative bands it covers in the last few years. I’m glad Kerrang radio is back on DAB .

Even as a 37 year old man, how can I ever fully grow up when the teenager in my mind is still rocking away to Kerrang, and the music of the late 90s/early 2000s?

This is sad. Just one of them things you thought would be around forever.

Pete's reaction towards the end of Thnks Fr Th Mmrs is basically everyone's reaction when Kerrang TV shut down.

Let it be known, Evanescence’s Bring Me to Life was actually the last song played on Kerrang

Ah man, I remember those little promo clips with Sonne by Rammstein. When they did the unedited videos after 10 like Smack My Bitch Up, Whiskey in the Jar, Boiler.. Kerrang! Tv will forever be a memory from childhood
