Great video, I think using third party IR's makes a huge difference on tones you can get from the TMP, I never use the stock cabs anymore since they added the option to do so.👍

Rob, you should really take care of boosting the amp with a (virtual) Tubescreamer/Maxon 808 etc. - it makes things much tighter and takes away a lot of the muddy low frequencies. Be sure to set drive to 0, tone and level to taste. TBH I know very few guitarist that don't boost tube amps - and that is valid for any given modeler as well...

I haven’t had a chance to mess with a TMP yet, but all of the other tone master stuff I’ve messed with has been awesome. There is a tonemaster reverb deluxe that I always plug into at work. One of my favorite clean amps I’ve ever played through. Used it almost every day for a year before I realized it was a modeling amp and not tubes. Fender’s modeling stuff is insanely good.

Hey Rob just wanted to say I am a big fan of you, saw you guys live a bunch of times, even went to a Chimaira Christmas back in 09 with one if the moderators/popular chimaira forum users who ended up just smoking meth the whole way, and ended up winning one of your guitar give aways. I can see why boost is probably not working or needed for your tone. Basic premise is that it cuts low end and boost mids. But based on your amp settings (bass 25%, mids 80%, treble 90%) you kinda already have that sound :). I would assume adding boost would only thin out your tone.

Gain 0
Tone at noon
Level 100
No blend on mine so I’m assuming 100 for you

This is how I run it in my Quad Cortex, I hear a difference. I do feel like it tightens everything up a little and I leave it on for every high gain scene.
