I like how the drums are already included but bass is the last "don't forget" step

Here is a trick to get an even bigger sound. Put a reverb on both guitar tracks and then hard pan the reverb to the opposite side. You want the verb for the hard left guitar to be panned hard right, and the verb for the hard right guitar panned hard left. Massive sound.

Yes, Left/ Right full pan balance makes a world of difference, good stuff. Nice Desaster shirt btw.

I think the hardest part is finding 3 other people with the ability to play melodeath live.

For a riff like this I'd throw a harmony riff over it as well

100%. There’s nothing more satisfying than hearing the riff for the first time doubled and panned. It instantly takes it to a new level

I learned in 1 minute more than from hours of guitar tutorials on youtube

I learned about playing the exact same riff twice & panning one left & one right, like 25 years ago. But play each one from start to finish...no copy/paste looping BS. I only do 2 rhythm guitar tracks myself & it's fine that way. Then again I've been recording since the late 90s...not everyone has.
Also learned years ago that you don't need a big amp cranked up to get a big loud heavy sound. A lot of musicians back in the day sometimes used practice amps in the studio.

These recording and production tips are awesome! With the capability of professional-grade sounds no longer limited to the expensive studios of old, it's enlightening to see knowledge being shared among fellow musicians to get recordings out there. Cheers.

Actually a very good tip for the guitar sound. Most people dont get what a hole bunch of instruments, the bass and the drums add to the guitar. And that riff :o ;)

Remember to put the bass in the center, that's what really brings it all together
