This must be the first injury where Brian didn't drop a video within 10 minutes of it occurring

What’s happening with your eye doc? You doctors have an underground fighting league?

The falling used to happen to me as a teenager. I had a swollen bump on my knee and it would make me fall sometimes in high school. I would exaggerate it in front of girls, but it would be sore on and off. It’s good now. I think it was because of a growth spurt

Embiid weighs 280lbs and is a 7 footer. He has had consistent knee issues since his college days. People of his size from a physics perspective are not supposed to be doing the things that he does daily on the court. I give him another 3 years max before (medical) retirement bells start knocking at his door..⏳

If somebody laying across your leg _when it's flat on the ground_ causes a knee injury this easily, I don't know how any of those NFL players are ever able to finish a game?

I hope he gets back soon but he probably shouldn’t have been playing in the first place. Thanks for showing him trying to jump and his left knee buckling. Totally makes sense, he had limited mobility going into the game.movement

Poor Brian looks so tired since he's got a baby 😅

His knee rubberbanded back when the warrior guy got up. Seems like he isn’t that flexible

Great analysis as always. Really like your insight into previous injuries showing up on MRI and the soft tissue information.

Interesting analysis once again, thanks! Let's hope Embiid is okay, cannot imagine the stresses a big player's joints and tendons go through, especially when playing at Embiid's level.

Your videos have actually been a big help to me, I'm in the last stages of medical school. Anatomy has not been my strongest field (and I'll probably be a gp or an internist anyway) but I've learned a lot from you because I've had the opportunity to combine my interest in basketball with anatomy and trauma mechanics, thank you for that!

Dr. Brian, you good? You look a little exhausted. Get some rest, good man. Appreciate the great content!

My favourite video in a while!! As someone in undergrad hoping to go into the field i love hearing about these slightly more complex cases and nitty gritty details like comlications with imaging.

As someone who has had problems with knee injuries I’ve just collided into someone else’s leg and I end up not being able to walk because of the pain
