Sharing your everyday makeup look with us is such a good idea as it's so relatable, useful and validating for me. There are two specific things that struck me about this post. We all know that just as in fashion there are makeup trends that come and go, and while we can have fun with them there are those tried and true staples that are simply reliable and timeless. Although I am older than you, I have been using a lipliner to also fill in the lips as a daily look since my late teens, as well as using my blusher to subtly add colour to my eyes and brow bones for a harmonising and polished look. Watching you do the same for your simple, everyday look made me feel confidant that I had been doing something right all these years. We all crave something a little different and exciting once in a while, but knowing that you have a reliable go-to-look can be an instant no-brainer confidence booster. The second thing is that with all the makeup choices filling our drawers and store shelves, it is a relief, for me at least, to have a pared down makeup bag with those tried and true essentials to carry around and travel with. While I love to experiment and try new products and colours, I can sometimes forget about what just always works and those are the items that tend to be pushed back in the drawer or forgotten for a while. I find that when I travel, especially if there is going to be an event, I want to bring choices with me so my toiletries and makeup bags tend to take up the most room and weight. As I'm getting ready now for such a trip, you have inspired me to be more thoughtful of what I am bringing, and with just an added item or two for some extra sparkle for those evening events, I will travelling with a much lighter load while still feeling confidant about looking my best. By the way, Andreea, you not only educate and inspire when it comes to makeup and in helping one to look one's best, but you have a wonderful gift of communication that appeals to many ages and generations, that makes you so relatable. Having met you in person and having had the pleasure of you doing my makeup, I can attest that the person you present on this platform is also who you are in real life. So thank you for sharing your passion.
