The Spirit of Truth

Thought to Remember:
Through the Holy Spirit, hard times are profitable.

Lessons learned:
Hard times are unavoidable, but hard times do not mean that such are unprofitable.

Why is that? Jesus reminded His disciples that His departure was not for His advantage but for theirs. He endured hardships and suffering for the benefit of believers. Jesus’ departure allowed the coming of the Holy Spirit that would benefit the disciples. The Holy Spirit will teach and bring Jesus' sayings to their remembrance. The Holy Spirit continues to guide believers by providing wisdom and understanding. He empowers believers to live out their faith and share the same message with others. In essence, hardships can lead to profound benefits, as exemplified by Jesus' sufferings.

My Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, we are blessed to experience a wonderful baptism in Jesus as we stay connected to You through the Holy Spirit. Bless us and keep us as we witness to others about the goodness and transforming power of Jesus in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
