The 7 Spirirs are not in competition with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit but are aspects of assistance in the Holy Spirit that fell upon the Messiah (Anointed One), Jesus- The Last Adam. They are one by the way.

The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are the three distinct Persons of the Godhead that are all One. The 7 Spirits of God is the fullness of the Holy Spirit described in Isaiah 11 and the prophecy of the Messiah. And he would delight in the Fear of the Lord... doing those things that please the Father.

In the book of John when it speaks of the Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan, John says that the Spirit rested upon Jesus without measure. The fullness of the Spirit rested upon Him. It was also the fullness of the Spirit who rested upon the 120 in the upper room who filled and empowered to preach and do great feats.

Even today, those who are truly born again and follow Christ receive the Spirit of the Lord. But most Christians today don't walk in the fullness of the Spirit. But there's a day coming that Ge will rest on a remnant. Acts 2 was the former rain... But in the latter part of the end times the latter rain shall be greater than the former...
