I dont know, but somehow when i activated the net framework 3.5 in program and components, it improved my game experience a little bit, like better physics or some such in games, but who knows, maybe im just imaginating

So is this essentially what a DLL is as well in a way? I understand .dll (Dynamic Link Library) file to be little pieces of compressed code that sits in the System32 folder which tells Windows how to operate certain commands. Example, when you press the Minimize button on a window, the OS knows what to do instead of the programmer writing the code to explicitly tell the OS Minimize does this, Maximize does this, X does this etc... Having the DLL already present, the coder doesn't have to worry about little minute details.
