Mastering Linear Equations: The Basics of Algebraic Problem Solving

Project Description: This project creates a Reusable Learning Object (RLO). This RLO is a learning tool that guides students in solving one-step and multi-step equations. Through engaging visuals, step-by-step explanations, and practice opportunities, it simplifies essential algebra skills. The RLO will apply various Mayer principles, including multimedia, contiguity, modality, segmenting, personalization, and redundancy, to enhance learning by combining visuals with narration, breaking content into manageable parts, and maintaining an engaging, conversational tone. These principles reduce cognitive load, support retention, and make complex concepts easier to understand.
